Revi

Voice dictation that runs on your computer: you talk and the text appears in any app, without sending your voice to the cloud.

The Revi website

What it does

  • Works everywhere

Dictated text appears in any app, wherever the cursor is.

  • No cloud

Speech recognition runs on the computer: your voice never leaves the machine.

  • Text clean-up

Hesitations and false starts disappear, punctuation and capitals fix themselves.

  • Knows when to stop

In password fields Revi stops and types nothing.

Who it is for

People who write a lot and would rather talk: professionals, developers, anyone working with documents and email.

Revi was built for people who want to dictate without handing their voice to an external service. It is available for Mac, and also for Windows and Linux.

The Windows and Linux version is derived from the open source project Handy, released under the MIT licence.
