Frequently asked questions

How long does a project take?

It depends on what the software has to do, how many people use it and how many systems it must connect to: a website and a management system do not take the same time, so we do not give a duration up front. The time estimate comes with the quote, after a first call, and is refined after the prototype. We build with frequent releases, so there is always a version to try and progress is visible without waiting for the end.

How much does a custom project cost?

The price depends on how many processes the software has to cover, which systems it connects to, how much data it carries and how much support you need after launch. That is why we do not publish a price list: first we have a call to understand the work the software has to do, then we send you a quote, with a time estimate.

Do I own the code?

This is agreed in writing before we start, together with the rest of the project. We talk about it on the first call, because the right answer changes from project to project and we do not want to give you one that fits everyone.

Is there support after launch?

Yes, it is the last phase of our method: support and maintenance after launch, with the same people who built the software. One example is a corporate car sharing app that we still look after today. What the support includes and how it works is agreed together before we begin.

Which technologies do you use?

We choose the technology to fit the job, not the other way round. For the web we often work with Next.js, React and TypeScript; for apps with Swift, Flutter and Expo; for data with Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Supabase or Firebase; for content with Sanity and for payments with Stripe; for hosting with Vercel, Cloudflare and Google Cloud. We connect the new software to the systems and services you already use.
