Ortottista Roma
The website of an orthoptics practice in west Rome, with content managed directly by the doctors.
Context
The practice of Dr Simona Ferracci and Dr Giacomo Cataldi treats children and adults with vision problems in the Boccea, Casalotti and Aurelio areas of Rome. Many patients are parents searching Google on their phone for someone they can trust close to home.
The problem
They needed a site that explains in seconds who they are, what they treat and where they are, leads people to call or message on WhatsApp, and respects the Italian rules on healthcare advertising: inform, never sell. The doctors also wanted to update texts and articles on their own.
What we did
We designed and built the site with Next.js and Sanity: pages for services, practitioners and location, a blog, phone and WhatsApp always within thumb's reach, copy written in an informative tone, local search optimisation and careful accessibility. With Sanity the doctors edit content and articles from a simple panel.
The result
The site is live at ortottistaroma.com and the practice keeps it up to date on its own.
